The polls, conducted in two rounds (one immediately after Bhutto’s death and one a week later) on a sample of over 1300 nationwide respondents, revealed that more than half (53%) of the entire sample and 74% of PPP voters think it was right to choose Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as PPP’s new head. In response to another question on the role of political leaders, 62% respondents believe Nawaz Sharif’s role in handling this national tragedy was appreciable. This was considerable higher compared to the evaluation received by other political leaders. (see details ahead in this Release)………….. Attached.
