Pakistan held its 9th General Elections on February 18, 2008. Gallup Pakistan was the only public opinion organization which conducted a large scale Exit Poll across all four provinces of the country. This survey was designed to determine demographic and socio-economic composition of the vote banks of leading political parties. The survey also captured perceptions about fairness of elections, voter's outlook on various aspects of electoral politics and Pakistan’s potential for Electoral Democracy and healthy Civic Culture.
The findings are based on a survey of 5338 statistically selected voters from all the four provinces of Pakistan. They were randomly selected as they stepped out of polling stations after casting their vote.
